Welwyn Roman Bath House Museum

Tunnel through time to the world of the Romans with a visit to Welwyn Roman Baths. Discover the secrets of the past in a steel vault deep under the A1(M) motorway, where you can find the unique remains of a once-luxurious bathing suite. The layout of the hot, warm and cold rooms and the heating system are a fine example of Roman life from the third century AD.
