Annual Urchfont Scarecrow Festival. May Bank Holiday Weekend 5, 6 & 7 May 2012. Fun trail for all the family starting at Urchfont Pond (4 miles south of Devizes). 9.30am to 6.00pm daily. 49 scarecrows to identify with a theme from clues on a trail map – £3 (2 for £5); additional children's competition £1.50 (2 for £2). Plant sale, BBQ, refreshments,cakes, licensed bar, ice creams, toilets (inc. disabled). FREE car parking.
