Dormice in Briddlesford Woods

Join us at our reserve for a rare chance to see dormice in their natural setting. Sept/Oct are good months for plenty of sightings as the dormice fatten up for winter & use the nest boxes to stay warm. You will help check the boxes in the woods, learn about dormouse ecology and woodland management. Look out for red squirrels too, which are very active at this time of year.

Meet in the woods at either 10.00am or 2.00pm to begin the box checks. The event will last approximately 3 hours. Please ensure that you book for the time you want. Cost £12 PTES supporter £16 non-sup
