Nordic Walking

Outside exercise lifts the mood, and Nordic Walking can help protect you against osteporosis, help you lose weight and lift your mood by being outdoors. It is the fastest growing fitness activity in the world and is used by individuals, physiotherapists, doctors and health promoters because it is easy to learn, highly effective, affordable and enjoyable. The use of poles means the upper body muscles are used as well as the legs, enabling a full body workout in the fresh air. 4-week course leads to a Competence Card for use anywhere in the UK and chance to join Hillingdon Nordic Walkers to explore the many green spaces in and around the borough. No expensive equipment purchase required. NWUK licenced instructor.
