Notting Hill Mayfest: Open Door Opera perform The Enchanted Child (Ravel) and The Medium (Menotti)
Following their hit (and) run at the Edinburgh Fringe and triumphant transfer to St John's, Smith Square, Open Door Opera continue to indulge their passion to share opera with a new audience.They present an evening devoted to the supernatural, Opera Gets Spooked, comprising two well-loved works. In Menotti's 100th year Open Door Opera present The Medium, the story of Madame Flora's fake séances and the fright she gets when one of them produces real contact with the Other Side.
7.30pm on 31st and 1st of June, on the closing days of Notting Hill Mayfest.
