Coastlines - Form and Function

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

West Wales has a spectacular coastline with some impressive features including towering cliffs, sandy beaches, beautiful bays and sand dunes. Do you know how they were formed? To gain an insight into the origins of our coastline some of the historical and present day processes that have produced costal features will be investigated and discussed. Field excursions will take place to examine the local costal features and to apply the theories of geomorphology to explain and understand what is observed.

Tuesdays 11.00am to 1.00pm 31st January 2012 to 10th April 2021. Course cose £60 (concessions £50)

Chamber at The Guildhall, Cardigan Ceredigion SA43 1JL

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"One of our homes had a Red Cross Open day recently and 30% of the visitors had seen the event listed on your site" - Wellburn.
"Our event was a success due in no small part to your inclusion of it and the fact that yours was the first entry in an internet search for the title of the exhibition. The days of chasing after printed media coverage are over. Where Can We Go gave us excellent coverage and and we would be happy to recommend your service to organisations large and small." - Jock, Herald Events.
