ahab

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

This up and coming collective from London's Dolston was formed in 2009, after being invited to play the Fanfare Festival in Nashville, Tennessee. Following a successful week-long residency tearing the roof off at Tootsie’s, the foursome came back to Dolston and decided to make the collaboration permanent. After a year spent writing new material and layering the songs thick with harmonies, ahab decided to hot the streets of London markets to put their name around. Two months of busking later, Callum Adamson, Dave Burn, Seebe Llewellyn and Luke Price have acquired such a cult following that they are banned from practically every market in London, as crowds block the streets wherever they play.

£13 (conc £12) Doors open 7.15pm for an 8pm prompt start.

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
"We had an excellent response from our posting on WhereCanWeGo.com, and it was responsible for drawing folk from a wide area to our event; we recommend you as being the most effective form of publicity around." - Barbara , Village Celebration Food & Crafts Fairs.
