Heritage Open Days at the Bruce Building, Newcastle University

Heritage Open Day: Former Newcastle Breweries Office, 1896-1950. A bold neo-baroque building with a stunning interior ornate faience tiles, decorative plaster ceilings carved mahogany panels and fireplaces, stained glass and a wonderful marble staircase. A hidden gem now owned by Newcastle University. New for 2011, the basement area will be included in the tours.
