Heritage Open Days at Emmanuel Free Church

Heritage Open Day: Formerly the German Church in Sunderland opened in 1873 serving the German population of Sunderland and visiting seamen until the outbreak of World War I. Reopened in 1931 as the Emmanuel Free Church. This year is the 80th anniversary of opening.
