Thomas Trotter - Birmingham City Organist. Bach - Toccata, Adagio & Fugue, S564, Stanley - Voluntary, Op 6, No 6, Buck - Variations on a Scotch Air (Annie Laurie), Karg-Elert - Homage to Handel – 54 studies in variation form. Charismatic Birmingham City Organist Thomas Trotter’s annual visit is one of the great highlight’s of the Yorkshire musical season. Simply don’t miss it - just be there and catch Thomas’s magnificent selection of music by Bach, John Stanley and Dudley Buck. The concert culminates in Karg-Elert’s extraordinarily vivid 54 studies in Variation based on a famous Baroque theme and entitled, appropriately, Homage to Handel.
