The story of Beauty and the Beast needs no introduction however this musical production is fresh and new and has met with great success around the world following its premier on Broadway in 1994 and the West End in 1997. The music is by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice from the book by Linda Wooverton, originally directed by Robert Jess Roth and originally produced by Disney Theatrical Productions. Now available for only a limited time to amateur theatre in the United Kingdom, Bridgnorth Musical Theatre Company plan to bring this magical tale to your very doorstep in its 60th anniversary year. This show is great all round family entertainment and the music, scenery, costumes and special effects are spectacular. Definitely a show not to be missed.
