Lily Neill. Leading American Celtic harp player Lily Neill originates from Washington DC. She is currently based at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland where she is the harp tutor. This will be sixth concert that Lily has performed on the Isle of Wight. Those who have seen her before will know that she is a wonderfully gifted musician. She graduated from Limerick University with a First Class honours degree in Irish Traditional Music, but in addition during her live shows you will also hear many Scottish and Scandinavian influences. Her new album 'The Habit Of A Foreign Sky' was released earlier this year to much critical acclaim.. Early in her career Lily performed at a concert for the then American President Bill Clinton. She spent a lot of time last year touring in Russia where she met Mikael Gorbachev
