New Exhibition for Ely Cathedral Feb 2012 - Modern Day Quaker Tapestry

A captivating and colourful stitched tale of 350 years of history is on display at Ely Cathedral: 31 January to 29 February 2012. Conceived by a brilliant embroiderer 30 years ago, the 77 panels were made by 4,000 men, women and children from all over the world. Thirty nine of the panels will travel to Ely from their home in Cumbria. The free exhibition includes a film, audio guides, children’s activities, gift shop and embroidery demonstrations.
