King Lear

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Directed by Andrew Hilton John Shrapnel in the title role as King Lear One of the pinnacles of world drama, and Shakespeare’s greatest masterpiece, King Lear is the most complete account we have of what it is – and what it is not – to be human. At a time when autocratic regimes around the world are under unprecedented threat it has also acquired a new contemporary relevance. This play was SATTF ’s very first production twelve years ago and the company is thrilled to be bringing this new production to a much wider audience in 2012. “Andrew Hilton’s commanding production of Richard II … is once again a revelation” Elisabeth Mahoney - The Guardian (22 Feb 2011)

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
"One of our homes had a Red Cross Open day recently and 30% of the visitors had seen the event listed on your site" - Wellburn.
