Save The Last Dance For Me at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

From the writers, producers & directors who brought you Dreamboats and Petticoats. Save the Last Dance for Me will take you back through the 'music and magic' of the early 60's, a time when each passing week brought another Rock 'n' Roll classic. This nostalgic, feel-good musical journey will transport you back to music's golden era as we follow two teenage sisters, Jennifer and Marie, through the summer of 1963. Full of freedom and high spirits they embark on a family holiday to the coast and a traditional seaside town. The young siblings soon discover much more than just sea and sand when they meet a handsome American airman, who invites them to a dance at the nearby United States Air force base.

Please check the website for performance times and prices.

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"One of our homes had a Red Cross Open day recently and 30% of the visitors had seen the event listed on your site" - Wellburn.
"Our event was a success due in no small part to your inclusion of it and the fact that yours was the first entry in an internet search for the title of the exhibition. The days of chasing after printed media coverage are over. Where Can We Go gave us excellent coverage and and we would be happy to recommend your service to organisations large and small." - Jock, Herald Events.
