Practical Woodland Management

Volunteers are needed to help keep the woodland healthy by removing invasive species, such as Laurel, which is threatening to take over! This small woodland has some impressive mature oaks with a rich understory, providing an invaluble home for woodland birds and animals.The project will be run by at least one trained BTCV Leader and we will provide first aid cover, as well as public and personal liability insurance for you while you’re talking part in the project. If you’re coming for the whole day please bring a packed lunch. Refreshments (such as tea, coffee and biscuits) will be provided. We will also provide all the tools and equipment needed, as well as suitable work gloves for everyone (although you may wish to bring your own) Contact telephone number on the day is:07740 899 709
