National Theatre Live: Travelling Light

Nicholas Wright’s new play is a funny and fascinating tribute to the Eastern European immigrants who became major players in Hollywood’s golden age; and a haunting look at the stories we tell about our own lives. The award-winning Antony Sher returns to the National to play Jacob.

Shakespeare on Screen: Hamlet (U)
Our Shakespeare on Screen season continues with the great Laurence Olivier bringing Shakespeare’s classic tragedy to life in this much-praised film version of the play. Olivier directed and produced the film which won four Oscars including Best Film and Best Actor for Olivier’s performance, as well as art direction and design.
