Blood Gore and More - The Life and Times of an English Civil War Surgeon

Marty Young, a member of the Sealed Knot introduces you to the techniques and practices of the surgeon in the 17th Century. We will explore the social position and practices of the surgeon during their peace time practice and when on military campaign. This will include descriptions of the more common techniques practised by the surgeon including the tools and instruments he used.

11am - 4pm Fee £40 includes coffee on arrival, 2 course buffet lunch and tea and cakes before leaving,
