An Exhibition of Watercolour Paintings in Durham Cathedral by Celebrated local artist Stuart Fisher

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Artist and award winning designer Stuart Fisher is exibiting a number of new works in Durham Cathedral from December 2nd. He has exhibited across the north east and as far south as Bath’s prestigious Rooksmoor Gallery. Stuart believes that a large section of the art buying public are hungry for the return of traditional painting. He therefore specialises in the production of architectural watercolours combining the atmospheric ambiance typical of Turner with the technical brilliance of his artistic hero, Sir William Russell Flint. Stuart's reputation for producing high quality traditional architectural landscapes ensures that demand for his work continues to increase in uncertain times. Work can also be viewed at The Art Shop & Kemble Gallery Saddler Street Durham City.

Exhibition Now Extended Through February 2012. Please check with the Cathedral Chapter Office for details

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"Our event was a success due in no small part to your inclusion of it and the fact that yours was the first entry in an internet search for the title of the exhibition. The days of chasing after printed media coverage are over. Where Can We Go gave us excellent coverage and and we would be happy to recommend your service to organisations large and small." - Jock, Herald Events.
"Our family fun day this year was the best ever and a great deal of that success was from a mention on WhereCanWeGo.com. We will definitely be using it for all future events." - Lee Mill Community Association.
