Fear and Fascination: Art from the dawn of the railways

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

An intriguing exhibition of some of our earliest prints, cartoons, drawings and paintings. These historic images of Britain’s railways capture the mood of a nation conflicted about this new technology. The Art Gallery is funded by The Foundation for Sport and the Arts

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"Our event was a success due in no small part to your inclusion of it and the fact that yours was the first entry in an internet search for the title of the exhibition. The days of chasing after printed media coverage are over. Where Can We Go gave us excellent coverage and and we would be happy to recommend your service to organisations large and small." - Jock, Herald Events.
"We had an excellent response from our posting on WhereCanWeGo.com, and it was responsible for drawing folk from a wide area to our event; we recommend you as being the most effective form of publicity around." - Barbara , Village Celebration Food & Crafts Fairs.
