The world premiere of the play that inspired the Oscar winning film, by David Seidler and directed by Adrian Noble. With Charles Edwards as King George VI, Jonathan Hyde as Lionel Logue and Emma Fielding as Queen Elizabeth. When King Edward VIII abdicates to marry Wallis Simpson, his terrified brother Bertie is thrust into the spotlight and crowned. On the brink of World War II Bertie, with a debilitating speech impediment, must speak for his country and looks to an unconventional therapist for help.
