Star Quality at the Theatre Royal Brighton

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Golden Globe winner Amanda Donohoe leads a stellar cast of twelve in Noël Coward's deliciously funny final play, Star Quality. Taking us behind the scenes of a new West End production, Coward conjures up a wickedly observant satire of the backstage world of talent and treachery. From tentative first rehearsal to triumphant opening night, both leading lady and director are determined to get  their own way and the resulting clash of egos becomes increasingly and hilariously bloody. What emerges is a startling evocation of that most elusive gift of all - star quality. Adapted by Christopher Luscombe (director of The Madness of George III and The History Boys), Star Quality is a fitting farewell from the master of the stage.

"We had an excellent response from our posting on WhereCanWeGo.com, and it was responsible for drawing folk from a wide area to our event; we recommend you as being the most effective form of publicity around." - Barbara , Village Celebration Food & Crafts Fairs.
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
