Mairearad and Anna: Sunday Teatime Concert

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Award-winning multi-instrumentalist duo Anna Massie, from Fortrose, and Mairearad Green, from Achiltibuie, have established themselves across the traditional music scene in a few short years. They can be seen performing individually with a host of well-known artists such as The Poozies, Blazin Fiddles, Karen Matheson, Box Club, Eddi Reader and Karine Polwart, and together in Scotland’s one and only Celtic Big Band, The Unusual Suspects.

Having both grown up in the Highlands with strikingly similar musical backgrounds - including mandolin-playing Dads - Anna and Mairearad share an innate understanding of Scottish culture and music. Having played together for 9 years, they’ve established a strong, vibrant musical relationship which comes across easily to audiences of all ages. It’s sure to be a fun afternoon. Afternoon tea (Drumnadrochit is famous for its home baking) is served in the interval. Book now!

What our Organisers say:
"We posted the choir concert details on the site but we have had to remove it again as the college has been inundated with ticket requests! The website certainly works, all tickets have gone like hot cakes!" - Helen, Catlow Communications.
"Thank you, we welcome the publicity." - Wendy, Mill Dene Gardens, Gloucestershire.
"Thankyou for your help with advertising our fundraising gig. It went very well and we managed to raise just over £2,500. We may be holding more events in the future and I will definitely be using your site to advertise them." - Karen - Bad Manners Fundraising Gig.
