Wildlife Watch

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Volunteers will be in one of the hides to point out wildlife and answer your questions. Free for everyone, no need to book! Rye Meads is a great place to come with the whole family... its safe, free and they'll be outdoors! The paths around the reserve are good, you don't need to be an expert to come. You can borrow binoculars (for £1.50) and we have a 'birdbingo' game you can borrow to play as you walk round, its definitely a favourite with the kids! The Wildlife Watch is a monthly event, it will run every second Sunday 10 am-12 noon and the last Saturday in the month 2-4 pm.

Sunday 12 February, 10 am-12 noon

Rye Meads nature reserve, Rye Road, Stanstead Abbotts Hertfordshire SG12 8JS

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
"Our family fun day this year was the best ever and a great deal of that success was from a mention on WhereCanWeGo.com. We will definitely be using it for all future events." - Lee Mill Community Association.
