This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

For the second of its regular concerts this year the LMO welcomes guest conductor Stephen Threlfall and cellist Oliver Farrant. February's offering is a selection of baroque, classical and neoclassical pieces. Bach's 5th Brandenburg concerto and Haydn's first cello concerto performed by Chetham student Oliver Farrant is followed by Stravinsky's neoclassical ballet based on what was thought at the time to be the work of Pergolesi for the comedy "Pulcinella". Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
"We had an excellent response from our posting on WhereCanWeGo.com, and it was responsible for drawing folk from a wide area to our event; we recommend you as being the most effective form of publicity around." - Barbara , Village Celebration Food & Crafts Fairs.
