A rich menu of theatre, pleasantry and humour celebrates the late great British comedy actress Beryl Reid. Beryl’s vivacious character is brought to life by Elaine Pantling as she entertains with bravado and sparkling spirit. Her desire to love and to be loved is of paramount importance. Chaos, comedy, clowning and shoes are the order of the day as she cooks and prepares a meal live on stage; a starter, main course and for afters something naughty but nice! You will meet some of Beryl’s best loved characters. Featuring Marlene from the Midlands, Monica the Naughty School Girl, Conception the Spanish waitress and a few extras on the side, including memories of meals shared with some of her theatrical friends and some of her favourite things.
