Saturday Storytime and Playtime

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Funny stories, spooky tales, myths, legends, fables and yarns will transport children and their parents to exciting new worlds on Saturday mornings at The Point. Classic and contemporary stories from around the globe will be brought to life by actors, performance artists, dancers and musicians in Saturday Storytime. Meanwhile Saturday Playtime, run by exciting dance company Commotion Dance, aims to inspire and encourage children to explore their imagination through dance and movement. Both Saturday Storytime and Saturday Playtime are designed for children aged between three and eight and their families.

Sessions run the first Saturday of every month at The Point in Eastleigh. Saturday Playtime runs from 10 to 10.45am; Saturday Storytime runs from 11am to 11.45am. Tickets are priced £3 per session or £5 for both. Call the box office on 023 8065 2333 or visit www.thepointeastleigh.co.uk

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
"Our event was a success due in no small part to your inclusion of it and the fact that yours was the first entry in an internet search for the title of the exhibition. The days of chasing after printed media coverage are over. Where Can We Go gave us excellent coverage and and we would be happy to recommend your service to organisations large and small." - Jock, Herald Events.
