Sadhana Dance’s premiere of Elixir

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

A thought-provoking new dance piece that explores water as a shrinking global resource will premiere at The Point this month. Inspired by her time living with the Inuit communities in Nanavut, Canada, and Greenland, and her travels through the Arctic and India, Subramaniam’s Elixir examines man’s cultural relationship with water. A cross art form production, Elixir is set to an original soundtrack and features digital projections, sculpture and live singing. Fusing traditional Bharata Natyam steps with contemporary choreography Elixir weaves a story that is spellbinding,

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
"Our event was a success due in no small part to your inclusion of it and the fact that yours was the first entry in an internet search for the title of the exhibition. The days of chasing after printed media coverage are over. Where Can We Go gave us excellent coverage and and we would be happy to recommend your service to organisations large and small." - Jock, Herald Events.
