We are delighted to announce that Carmarthen Youth Opera’s 2012 production will be Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music”, directed by Adrian Rowlands, at the Lyric Theatre 13 - 18 February 2012. This magnificent musical will be performed by a company of 80 talented youngsters, including accomplished principal players and an awesome choir of 30 nuns. The show will also include innovative additions by the director - a delightful puppet scene and a secondary choir based on the renowned Wilten Boys Choir. This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger LTD on behalf of R&H Theatricals of New York.
