Having a Laugh with Paul Mayhew-Archer

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Former BBC producer Paul Mayhew-Archer talks about his career in comedy from Mornington Crescent to Dibley. Responsible for much of the most popular British television and radio comedy in the last twenty years, come and hear what it's like to work with Dawn French, Richard Curtis, Stephen Fry and many more. In support are Frimston and Rowett, an up-and-coming comedy duo who, like so many great British double-acts, met whilst studying at Cambridge University. Fresh from great success at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe, this is your chance to see some stars of the future and witness their owl obsession. This evening is a fundraising event for the Gobo Theatre Foundation, a newly formed theatre company set up to give a first professional theatre experience to talented and committed young people.

Start: 7.30pm Tickets: £10 each (no concessions) Tickets available from www.wegottickets.com/event/144061

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
"One of our homes had a Red Cross Open day recently and 30% of the visitors had seen the event listed on your site" - Wellburn.
