Craven Dunnill Jackfield Limited Factory Tour
Tour (extended as of May 2012) of award winning tile manufacturer Craven Dunnill Jackfield Limited. A member of the CDJ team will take you around the factory that uses traditional Victorian methods to produce glazed wall tiles, geometric and encaustic floor tiles. Hear how the company developed over 140 years of history. Still a commercial working factory, you can watch the master craftsmen and their staff at work. You can visit the onsite Jackfield Tile Museum, the most complete Victorian Tile Museum in the UK and you can have a go at making your own tubelined wall tile (all ages, all abilities welcome). Cafe facilities available. Disabled visitors welcome. Sorry no dogs.
