VAUXHALL DELIGHTS. This talk, with music and slides, will describe happy 18th. Century summer evenings in Vauxhall Gardens, which includes works by Handel, Bach and Haydn as well as songs, glees, catches and even organ recitals. David Parkes is a former Cambridge choral scholar, lecturer and orchestral conductor; Richard Aylmer, author of The Reynolds Collection, edits the Reynolds Newsletter.
