Art By Animals

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Do animals make art? This exhibition includes paintings by apes and elephants and examines whether they are artistic works or just pointless lines on a page. Placing their handiwork alongside animal specimens and historical documentation we explore why some animal creations are considered valuable and creative, while others are dismissed as meaningless. Part of the Humanimals Season at the Grant Museum. Admission is free and there is no need to book.

Time: Weekdays, 1pm - 5pm The Museum is closed for the Easter break on 5-11 April inclusive. Price: Free. There is no need to book 0203 1082052

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"One of our homes had a Red Cross Open day recently and 30% of the visitors had seen the event listed on your site" - Wellburn.
"Our event was a success due in no small part to your inclusion of it and the fact that yours was the first entry in an internet search for the title of the exhibition. The days of chasing after printed media coverage are over. Where Can We Go gave us excellent coverage and and we would be happy to recommend your service to organisations large and small." - Jock, Herald Events.
