A Circle of Tales

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

It all started so long ago that it is impossible to remember when. One day a woman, called Mazandaba, set out to search for stories, asking friendly and fierce animals if they could help, but none knew any stories, or even WHAT stories were. A myth from Africa retold by Gcina Mhlophe with African and English language, wood and wire puppets. This is a puppet show for the whole family, perfect for everyone from 4 years old. With video projection and the sweet, sweet sounds of live music played on traditional instruments by a wonderful African musician. Some performances will be preceded by a music workshop, please check with the venue for details.

Start time: 3.00. See website for prices and contact details.

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"One of our homes had a Red Cross Open day recently and 30% of the visitors had seen the event listed on your site" - Wellburn.
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
