Potiche (15)

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Catherine Deneuve stars in this hilarious new comedy. Potiche translates as “trophy wife” - when her husband has a heart attack Suzanne Pujol takes over the running of his umbrella factory and finds that she’s rather good at it. Enter an old flame in the form of Gerard Depardieu and the potiche is transformed into the boss... It’s a wonderfully frothy French farce firmly rooted in the 70s - even the acting style and photography recall that colourful era... And it’s a wonderful vehicle for Catherine Deneuve who looks and sounds wonderful aged 68 - and proves that a serious actress can make a rip roaring comedy part her own.

8pm - doors open 7.30pm (Licensed Bar). Tickets £4.50 from The Village Shop and The Rose & Crown in Feckenham - or book online by clicking the "Buy Tickets" link below
