A charity concert by the popular Weybridge Male Voice Choir for Sam Beare Hospice, Weybridge. This is your second opportunity to hear this famous choir after their sell-out year of 2011 celebrating their 90th Anniversary. The choir started in 1921 as a quartet in the Congregational Church in Queen’s Road Weybridge, rapidly growing in numbers and reputation, and winning awards in many years, both in UK and in overseas competitions. Virtually all the choirs’ concerts are in support of local or national charities. Among those that the choir has helped are Save the Children, Princess Alice Hospice, Age Concern, and Walton Day Centre and of course the Sam Beare Hospice.
