The Martini Lounge Burlesque and Variety Show is delighted to announce a tantalising line-up for their first Showcase of 2012, a Valentines special, on Friday 17 February. A brand new venue awaits the audience who, as a special treat, will be amongst the first people to see a show in the recently renovated Epstein Theatre, which doesn’t officially open until later this year. Widely regarded as the must-see Burlesque and Variety showcase in the UK, The Martini Lounge treasures the satire and performance art that evolved since Burlesque’s 19th Century origin. Audiences are invited to enjoy an impressive, loved up, performance of glitz and glamour from a forgotten age in a classy and delightfully ludicrous night of entertainment in the most beautiful of venues to reflect this tradition.
