Wild Hands On Guided Tour

Wild Hands On Guided Tour

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Animal lovers will love a new and unique experience at a wildlfe rescue centre in Northumberland and learn what running a wildlife sanctaury is all about. The tour takes 2 hours and tells the story of how The Sanctuary began over 19 years ago and you will meet some of the residents at the centre and learn all their stories - some sad, some funny but all true. You will feed foxes and barn owls and handle a snake or hedgehog. After the tour you are welcome to stay on and feed all the donkeys and goats or families can let their children run wild in the playarea. If 2 hours is not enough, book a WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE DAY and become an animal carer for the day and work behind the scenes feeding and cleaning all the animals in care at The Sanctuary. Hard work but fun and very rewarding.

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"Our family fun day this year was the best ever and a great deal of that success was from a mention on WhereCanWeGo.com. We will definitely be using it for all future events." - Lee Mill Community Association.
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
