Brushes with Colour

Bassetlaw Museum is hosting the 7th Exhibition of Cox's Pippins Art Group. The exhibition will be formally opened by Derek Turner, the Lord High Steward of Retford. "Brushes with Colour' brings together original artwork from the many talented artists within the group, displaying a range of different styles and media, and most pieces will be for sale. There will also be an opportunity to see some of these artists at work, from 1.00pm -3.00pm on Saturday 4th February and again on Saturday 18th February 2012. Many of the group worked alongside professional artist Marianne Cox and aptly named the group Cox's Pippins when Marianne moved down south. The exhibition is free and the museum is open from 10am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday.
