Pass through the black-and white gate of this Victorian house into a part-walled gardener's haven, encouraging birds and other wildlife with an organic approach. Bulbs and shady woodlanders in Spring, many herbaceous plants and climbers. Sit and enjoy home-made cakes, by pond or Victorian-style greenhouse. Gardener is keen Hardy Planter and sows far too many seeds so always something good for sale! Open:Sun 25 Mar (2-5). Evening Opening £4, chd free, wine, Fri 18 May (6-9); Fri 13 July (2-5).

Admission £3, Children free. Telephone:01785 258923. Visitors & groups also welcome by appointment. Open for charity.
