1-acre mature organic garden below fell, around C18 farmhouse and outbuildings, latter mainly open. Tiny stream, large pond. Alpine, herbaceous, raised, gravel, damp and shade beds, bulbs in grass. Extensive range of plants, many unusual. Art constructions in and out, local stone used creatively. Fine views, so unkind winds. Open:Sun 6 May; Fris, Sats 4, 5, 18, 19 May; 1, 2, 15, 16, 29, 30 June; 13, 14 July (11-5).

Admission £3, Children free (share to Mungrisdale Parish Church). Times:11-5. Telephone:017687 79672. Visitors & groups also welcome by appointment. Open for charity.
