1-acre garden full of winter colour and scent, continuing into spring. Witch hazels, daphnes, hellebores, early rhododendrons and interesting collection of more unusual seasonal plants, some for sale. Drifts of snowdrops. Sloping site with steps. Open unless ice/snow - phone to check if in doubt. Open:Sat 11 Feb (11-4); Suns 19 Feb; 26 Feb; 4, 11 Mar (1-4); Suns 10, 17, 24 Feb 2013.

Admission £3, Children free. Times:1-4. Telephone:01579 383520. Groups also welcome by appointment. Open for charity.

Cutlinwith is a 3-acre garden in a small valley. Begun 11yrs ago and now beginning to mature. The design aim is to have all yr round interest. Enclosed formal areas contrast with open spaces and the planting throughout is relaxed and varied.
