40 acres of Victorian landscaped gardens surrounding magnificent Grade I house (not open), set out by the artist Thomas Gambier Parry. Lakes, shrubberies and listed Pulhamite water gardens with grottos and fernery. Exciting ornamental lakes, and woodland areas. Extensive 1-acre rose garden and many features incl wood carvings.
Admission £4, Children free. Times:11-5. Telephone:01684 292875 (evenings only). Visitors welcome by appointment Suns 1 Apr; 6 May; 3 June; 1 July; 5 Aug; 2 Sept only (11-5). Open for charity.
