The Beeches - Open Garden for NGS

1-acre garden full of colour and interest to plant enthusiasts looking for unusual and rare plants. Spring gives some 250 named snowdrops together with hellebores and early daffodils. The lawn is awash with crocus, fritillarias, anemones, narcissi and cyclamen. Large vegetable garden on raised beds. Lovely views over open countryside. Open:Sun 19, Wed 22 Feb (11-4); Sun 18 Mar, Sun 15 Apr (2-5); Sun 17, Wed 20 Feb 2013 (11-4).

Admission £3, Children free. Times:11-4. Telephone:01777 870828. Visitors also welcome by appointment. Open for charity.

West Farm House - Open Garden for NGS
½-acre cottage style garden in a beautiful village setting bordering open countryside. Fine herbaceous borders featuring hardy geraniums, hostas, delphiniums and wide range of shrubs and other herbaceous perennials. Extensive greenhouse collection of cacti and succulents, with over 1000 plants on display, at the peak of flowering May and June. Open:Suns 20 May, 10 June (1-5).

Small, charming cottage-style garden with herbaceous borders, auricula theatre and vegetable plot. Relax in the Japanese area, spot the magic toadstools in the stumpery and meet our resident chickens. Private visitors welcome Mar/Apr to view auricular theatre in full flower.
