5½ acres of paradise in North Staffordshire in the true Arts & Crafts Tradition. A series of enclosed gardens, parterres and yew hedges. Pleached lime avenue. Herbaceous borders which move from cool colours to hot. Pyramidal roofed summerhouse beyond lies a lake spanned by two Monet-style bridges and young arboretum. See website for more information. Open:Suns 17 June; 22 July (1-5).

Admission £5, Children free. Times:1-5. Open for charity.
