Described by some as a cross between "alt-country Americana and British folk-rock", you can't really put ahab in a neat little box - their live sets have been exciting crowds of all music tastes. After a busy 2011, ahab are now on tour in February and Oxford is the latest town to announce their arrival. ahab appeared at over 20 UK and European Festivals, performing solo gigs and culminated their year by releasing their debut album "KMVT" on Navigator Records and touring with the mighty juggernaut Bellowhead on their sell out Hedonism Tour. “ahab is the real deal – top-notch UK Americana featuring tight four-piece harmonies.” - Simon Mayo, BBC Radio 2 “I loved ahab’s terrific performance at Cropredy festival.
