Joe Black’s Vile Volumes

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Joe Black, dubbed ‘the king of cabaret noir’ by the Metro, invites you into a world where death is a laughing matter, where love songs are truly sickening and where the gin flows free. Vile Volumes explores the darker side of how we deal with ourselves in a series of painfully honest, hilarious and at times disturbing ditties. Performing at Torture Gardens for New Year’s Eve 2011, touring nationally and internationally, this master of the macabre and commander of cabaret is here for just two nights; don’t miss out. Don’t say we didn’t warn you… Wear Black.

Time: 8pm, Tickets: £10 / £8 concs & members, Contact: 01753 866865 or visit www.firestationartscentre.com

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"Our event was a success due in no small part to your inclusion of it and the fact that yours was the first entry in an internet search for the title of the exhibition. The days of chasing after printed media coverage are over. Where Can We Go gave us excellent coverage and and we would be happy to recommend your service to organisations large and small." - Jock, Herald Events.
"We had an excellent response from our posting on WhereCanWeGo.com, and it was responsible for drawing folk from a wide area to our event; we recommend you as being the most effective form of publicity around." - Barbara , Village Celebration Food & Crafts Fairs.
