Enjoy British wildlife on a Ramblers group walk. Errwood Reservoir C.P. Off A5004 Whaley Bridge - Buxton Road. 8 Miles. SK013757. Dogs on short lead. Directions to The Street car park on north side of Errwood Reservoir - Take the A 5004 Long Hill Whaley Bridge to Buxton road. 4.7 miles after leaving Whaley Bridge turn right on the minor road signposted Goyt Valley. The car park is 1.5 miles down this road shortly after the bridge crossing Errwood Reservoir. The walk goes to Bunsal Cob, then the east side of Errwood reservoir above the reservoir. Then it follows the River Goyt to Derbyshire Bridge, then passes the Cat and Fiddle pub, then descends gradually to the West side of the reservoir back to the car park. The walk is 8.5 miles long mainly on good footpaths and a little road walking.
