’Dickens Tales - Bleak & Curious’

Celebrating the Bicentenary Anniversary of the Birth of England's Greatest StoryTellers Charles Dickens February 7th 1812 - 1870, there will be the retelling of Two of Dickens Tales: 'Bleak House' and 'The Old Curiosity Shop' by actor/performer storyteller Julie Ann Cooper for Derby Central Library's - 'Listen While You Lunch Events - It is a free event for all the public for Adults and older children , held at lunch time so that even those at work can come along during their Lunch break. 'Bleak House ' was seen as his finest achievements, with his intricate weaving of plots and story lines, and 'The Old Curiosity Shop' and Little Nell, have completely captured ours hearts and imagination for all time. For Charles Dickens is very much a writer born for the people.
