Little Bo Peep

This is a Past Event and has been Archived.

Winslow Players annual pantomime this year is Little Bo Peep. Little Bo Peep can never catch her sheep and so she enlists the help of her fellow residents in Nursery Rhyme village to help her (and they come up with various wacky ways): Dame Dolly Mixture who runs the sweet shop; Little Boy Blue; her sheepdog, Reefer; Baarbara and Ewenice who run the wool shop; Margery Daw, the schoolteacher, and all the children; Old Macdonald and Old Mother Hubbard; and Polly (put the kettle on) who runs the cafe. The baddie who is also trying to get the sheep is Russell T. Bone, the Butcher, and his two assistants Ruff and Rufus. Also of course, there are the sheep, led by Lambo, the black sheep. All plotlines are simultaneous and the cast hardly ever go off stage; the sheep wander all over the place.

Thursday 8pm £6.00; Friday 8pm £8.00 Saturday 4pm £6.00; Saturday 8pm £8.00

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
"Our family fun day this year was the best ever and a great deal of that success was from a mention on WhereCanWeGo.com. We will definitely be using it for all future events." - Lee Mill Community Association.
